The Wedding Genie had the privilege to provide Wishes & Details, and On the Day Coordination services to the lovely NIchola & Lee in September 2009. It was one of the hottest days of they year!
Their Story
Prior to our initial meeting with Julie we had a draft plan for our wedding and we had arranged our suppliers. During our first meeting with Julie we discussed our main priorities and this enabled us to have a clearer image of what work was involved leading up to our day. In addition Julie produced us a wedding overview based on our visions of the day this also helped us have a clearer understanding of the day.
We had some meetings with Julie which we considered what work had to be done and we were then able to plan and prioritise our workload. It also kept us calm and reassured us that everything was in order and we knew nothing would be overlooked. Although we had some ideas of our own, Julie suggested some great hints and tips.
For the period leading up to our day Julie created us to do lists of what tasks which were outstanding and we were given deadlines to work to. These were extremely useful and if we had forgotten a task we were able to refer to these.
In the run up to our wedding Julie managed and verified details of the day so that the day would run smoothly. This allowed us to relax and spend time with our family and friends before our day.
We had On The Day Coordination on our special day. This helped us remain claim, relaxed, enjoy and not panic that the layout of the venue wasn’t going to be arranged unsuitably. Also that everything during the day would run just right. Without a wedding planner I don’t think we would have been able to have enjoyed ourselves so much it made such a difference.
We would just like to say you are a friendly and approachable person. We never felt that you were intrusive towards us and we were able to trust you throughout. We would have no hesitations to recommend you to someone.
